Native plant challenge winners

Envirogorge’s challenge, Can You Name These Natives, is over–just in time for wildflower season in the Gorge. 140 people took the challenge!
Each week we randomly selected a winner from those who entered. Each of the six winners received a $25 native plant gift certificate to either Humble Roots Nursery in Mosier or Milestone Nursery in Lyle. One person won the bonus question challenge and will receive Landscaping with Natives Columbia Gorge by Jurgen Hess. All prizes were sponsored by Envirogorge.
Thank you to everyone who participated. We hope that you will subscribe to Envirogorge. Find the subscribe button on our home page to get notifications of new stories and challenges. You can also Like us on Facebook.
If you didn’t win, you’ll have another chance at the Gorge Earth Day Celebration on April 20, 6 p.m. at Springhouse Cellar, Hood River. Envirogorge will have a table there with more identification challenges and chances to win native plants.
Congratulations to the winners (pictured below) Katie Santini, Pamela Crider, Bill Sturman, Laura Klement, Ken Matley, and Linda Wilson (not pictured here).
