As profiled in the Columbia Gorge News, throughout 2024 Columbia Insight is celebrating its 10th anniversary as the only news source dedicated to environmental reporting on the Columbia River Basin. Milestones we’re commemorating include multiple awards for reporting excellence from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Society of Environmental Journalists; grant support from major regional foundations; a 2023 partnership with The Associated Press that brought our investigative reporting on the impacts of climate change on Pacific Northwest forests to a global audience; and a 21% readership increase in 2023 … a trend that’s continuing in 2024. Thanks to all of our readers, subscribers and donors.
